Colorist

SLR is a leading company in the VR industry, specializing in VR video streaming and interactive experiences.

Responsibilities:

Perform color correction and grading to enhance mood, tone, and quality across scenes
Collaborate with directors and post-production teams to align with project goals
Use industry-standard software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Mistika) for complex grading
Ensure color accuracy and continuity, addressing exposure, saturation, and balance
Implement creative solutions to support visual storytelling
Maintain organized project files and backups, ensuring all deliverables are met within deadlines
Manage monitor and equipment calibration for industry standards
Stay updated on trends, tools, and techniques to improve workflows

Your profile:

Proven Colorist experience with a strong portfolio
Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and other color grading tools
Solid understanding of color theory, correction, and grading
Familiarity with HDR workflows and platforms (cinema, streaming, broadcast)
Knowledge of color spaces, LUTs, and formats
Detail-oriented with strong visual consistency skills
Experience in the US market
Willingness to learn new tools and techniques

Bonus points:

Experience with VFX and compositing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
