How Do SLR Scripts Work?

Scripts work by synchronizing the motion of a powered sex toy with what you see happening on screen in real time. Basically: it strokes when she strokes. Everything You Need To Get Started

Supported VR Headsets include: Meta Quest 3 and 3S, Quest 2, Oculus Rift, Pico 4, HTC Vive, Pimax, HP Reverb, Valve Index, Windows Mixed Reality and other VR Headsets that can run the required SteamVR app. (Support for the listed devices is subject to change with manufacturer updates.)

What's the best sex toy and method of connecting to SLR? 

The best method is to use The Handy interactive sex toy connected to SLR through WiFi. 

Why? The Handy offers ultimate connectivity and is supported by both the native app AND the WebXR browser (from VR and smartphone browsers).

We will provide advice for Bluetooth devices (see below) but you risk all sorts of connectivity issues. iPhone and iPad devices don’t support connections between Bluetooth devices and websites in Safari, Chrome or other browsers. The Handy can be connected to SLR via Bluetooth but it is an inferior experience compared to WiFi. 

Connect The Handy toy to SLR over WiFi:

• In your Profile page, Enter your Handy Connection Key -> Press the “Checkmark” button to save
• Click Play on any video in the Sex Toy Scripts Category
• Click Settings and Select the desired script available - the Handy will now connect automatically and prompt you when connected!

Note: You can also connect your Handy device using the WebXR browser (smartphone/tablet/laptop/PC/Mac)

For sex toy connection via Bluetooth (currently only works with Chrome):

Currently supported: Kiiroo Keon, Kiiro Onyx, Vorze Cyclone SA, Vorze Piston SA, The Handy (WiFi is recommended for best Handy performance). Additional device support coming soon.

• Enable Bluetooth mode on your device.
  IMPORTANT: DO NOT PAIR YOUR SEX TOY directly to your browser device. This will prevent connection.
• Click Play on any video in the Sex Toy Scripts Category
• Click the "CONNECT" button and a system window will open showing all available nearby BT devices - choose the toy you want to connect
• Click Settings and Select the desired script available - your BT toy will now play along with the action on screen!

Tips: 

• On the bottom left corner, there will be a status update: Red = connection problem, Grey = connection in progress, Green = connection active
• When changing between scripts, re-connection will always occur - please allow for a few seconds for the system to reconnect

How to use The Handy and SLR on the Apple Vision Pro

Our devs are working on a dedicated AVP SLR app. Until then, you should get full functionality in the WebXR version of SLR via the Safari browser:

Autoblow

Autoblow is supported natively at SLR. 

How to connect Autoblow AI Ultra via WiFi

1. Launch the DeoVR App. Type www.sexlikereal.com into the DeoVR browser.
2. Go to the Settings menu by clicking the gear icon on the taskbar
3. Navigate to the Haptics tab
4. Find the Autoblow AI Ultra option and toggle it ON
5. Enter your connection key and press Connect
6. Power on your Autoblow device
7. Now play any scripted video and enjoy!

Offline Tips

For Local Video and Local Script playback

• The script and the video file need to be renamed EXACTLY the same and in the EXACT same folder with simplified naming schemes, for example:
  • C:\media\video123.mp4
  • C:\media\video123.funscript

For Streaming Video and Local Script playback

• Rename the script file to match ONLY the video ID (For Example = 15479.funscript for the Hard Sell video)
• Place the script file into “Interactive” folder in either = the root directory on Android devices OR in the root directory of Quest onboard storage OR the “Documents” folder on Windows
• Stream the video in SLR app

Additional tips:

• If you experience stuttering playback, you may need to turn your device off and on and reconnect in the Haptics Connect app.

For ONYX+ Users

• IF Onyx+ keeps blinking RED and stopping movement, increase Your Onyx+ Speed setting several points above 10 in the Haptics Connect App settings until the red blinking stops, then start decreasing that setting number to find the border for your device.

• Pair the Onyx+ directly with your phone's Bluetooth.

• Go to your phone Bluetooth settings and scan for new devices.

• Select your Onyx+ from the list and pair it with your phone.

For LOVENSE MAX 2 Users

Inflation level - setting #5 is maximum tightness

Position - Vibration increases intensity when depth reaches the lowest vertical point

Position inverse - Vibration increases intensity when depth reaches the highest vertical point

Speed - Syncs vibration strength to the actual speed of each stroke

(mid stroke = highest vibrations)

(top/bottom points = lowest vibrations)

Multi-scripts

This feature allows submission of more than one script to each video. This allows users even more freedom to choose from a variety of scripts for each video. It also affords creators the opportunity to script any video, regardless if it already has a script or not. Each script is attributed to its creator, making it easy to distinguish favourite script creators work and support them by buying their scripts.

Want to change scripts mid-playback and try something different? Easy. 

1. Open the options panel on the right side of the playback UI.
2. Open Haptics Settings (it's the toy icon)
3. Select the Script dropdown menu
4. Choose a script

• Install and launch the Haptics Connect app for Android or iOS

1. • Allow ALL permissions when prompted (Also Turn OFF the 'Remove permissions if app isn't used' option)
   • Turn ON 'Location' and 'Bluetooth' in your phone settings.

• Click the 'Devices' Tab -> Scan to connect your Toy
• Open Chrome browser on the same device, visit www.sexlikereal.com and Log in
• Click your SLR profile button -> Click on the 'Connect SLR to HC App' DEEPLINK button
• Thats it! Now go to the 'BROWSER' tab, Play any SLR Sex Toy Supported Video and Enjoy!

Alternatively, log in to sexlikereal.com in your mobile device browser and click the 'phone + haptic' button under the video to get automatically directed to that scene inside Haptics Connect!

In-Development Features

We’re never finished making VR porn better by improving haptics integration. Here are some of the things we’ve been working on and hope to share with you in the near future.

Autoblow

We began developing support for Autoblow though the DeoVR App. Autoblow users will soon have the same level of integration as all the other awesome haptic devices we support.

Algorithm improvement

We’re implementing new algorithms to calculate the average intensity of haptic scripts, giving users a sense of what to expect in terms of the experience. 

Fixes

We’re already working hard to investigate some reported bugs– mainly for the Onyx+ connecting with the DeoVR app, and for red light errors when using Speed Boost.

New Modes

A new behavior mode for haptics control is being developed called Fluffer Mode. This will provide users with a bit of moderate stimulation when scrolling pages and choosing videos. It will be easy to toggle on and off as desired, and will allow you to keep yourself warmed up for the main event between videos. 

Climax Mode is another feature we plan to add to the software. As the name suggests, Climax Mode will be an easy-to-activate, optional mode for your haptic device that immediately switches its behavior to your preferred finishing pattern. It will override what’s scripted and deliver a strong preset stroke pattern to accelerate you over the finish line, whenever you want it. 

Manual Mode QoL

We’re hoping to add some more control parameters to Manual Mode, like range and speed, making the entire experience more customizable and accessible to everyone. 

Haptics Connect

We plan to unify the abilities of Haptics Connect with the DeoVR app by integrating every toy supported by Haptics Connect directly into the player’s framework. Along with all the devices, we’re planning to bring every feature and option that Haptics Connects offers over to the DeoVR app as well. 

Scripting Workflow

A job needs the right tools, which is why we’re aiming to create a standardized toolset for converting and creating scripts for multi-axis devices. We currently have an effective in-house tool for this, but we want to make a new, full-featured, standard toolset for script creators across the board, based on the things we’ve learned.
